Steel deck STANDARD 73×32

In scaffolds, the deck  is one or more decking components on the same level within one bay, where the decking component is a prefabricated or otherwise manufactured component which independently transfer loads and  constitutes the deck or deck section.

Aluminium-plywood decks come in both circulation variety (with or without an integrated ladder) and working deck variety.

They comprise a welded aluminium frame (with heads on both ends with mounting holes matching the pins on the frames), reinforced by cross-bars and finished with anti-slip

plywood. In the case of circulation decks, there is an additional hatch and integrated aluminium ladder (only for 2.57 m and 3.07 m lengths).

The respective models (Standard and Heavy) differ by the type of alu section used for the deck frame ledgers and head structure.

The base plate comprises:

• • sole plate, which distributes the load from standard over a greater area and enablesplacement on the ground or mounting of a wheel set;

• •  threaded hollow core;

• •  flanged nut – to set the scaffolding at the required height;

• • flanged nut stopper – protection component preventing the nut from fully unscrewing.

The base plate unscrewing (loosening) distance will considerably affect the bearing capacity of the scaffolding base.

The protective sheeting effectively shields the mortar and facade materials from excessive drying as well as from sunlight, rain, snow, and wind. It protects the scaffolding surroundings from contamination and prevents objects from falling off the scaffolding. It enables work to be carried out at low air temperatures by using heaters. Technical description: made of polyethylene, resistant to UV rays, milky-white color, temperature resistance from -40 to +80°C.

Starting elements are placed directly on screw jacks and are used for the assembly of ledgers and horizontal braces,as well as one end of the vertical braces in the scaffolding base. This arrangement consisting of bases, starting elements and ledgers allows for precise leveling of the assembled scaffold structure, followed by the installation of stands.
