How does the formwork configurator work, step by step?
Configuring formwork takes 2–3 minutes. First you choose the formwork type — slab or wall. For slab formwork you enter the slab thickness and surface dimensions, and the configurator selects the spacing of props, main and cross beams according to the permissible load. For wall formwork (TEKKO, RASTO) you specify the wall height and length and the concrete pressure, and the tool selects panels, clamps, tie rods and braces. Once configured, you receive an interactive 3D model of the layout, a complete BOM with prices, a 2D preview and a PDF offer ready to download or send to our sales office.

Slab or wall formwork — what does the configurator select?
The choice of formwork system depends on the structure you are casting. Slab formwork is used to form floor slabs — the key is the spacing of props and beams depending on slab thickness and the resulting load. Wall formwork (TEKKO, RASTO) is used to cast walls, foundations and columns — here the permissible fresh-concrete pressure on the panel and the tie-rod arrangement matter. The IdeaTrade configurator recognises the element type and automatically selects the right components and their spacing, so you avoid over- or under-dimensioning. For slab formwork the tool is a fast, free alternative to manufacturer calculators (e.g. PERI MULTIFLEX), combining selection with instant pricing and 3D visualization.
Formwork standards and technical parameters
The formwork configurator follows the applicable formwork design rules. For slab formwork the load from fresh concrete is taken according to DIN EN 12812 (reinforced-concrete density 24.5 kN/m³) together with installation and working loads. For wall formwork, panel and tie-rod selection accounts for the permissible concrete pressure on the formwork. TEKKO and RASTO system components are based on timber beams compliant with EN 13377 and the safety requirements for temporary structures. Every batch undergoes quality control at our central warehouse in Żywiec.

Our central warehouse is in Żywiec (Silesia), from where we deliver formwork with our own transport — most often in the Silesia, Lesser Poland, Subcarpathia, Opole and Lower Silesia regions, as well as to Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Katowice and Poznań. Standard delivery time is 24–48 hours from order confirmation. In the configurator you enter the site location and the system adds an estimated delivery cost to the quote.
